Proud Birpi traditional owner Wil made history, playing his yidaki (didgeridoo) at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party to celebrate 50 years of The King’s Trust. It is the first time the yidaki has been played at the event. Wil participated in a King’s Trust Australia programme, Future Forward, and is excelling in his new career as an apprentice diesel mechanic. Wil and fellow participant Ella, now working as an operator, represented their communities, families, the Trust and their employer at Veolia, as we celebrated 50 years of impact.
