Are you a young First Nations person looking to kickstart a rewarding career with a company committed to diversity and reconciliation?

Veolia Australia and New Zealand’s Future Forward programme supports young First Nations people through three months of hands-on vocational training. Built around our Achieve framework, the programme focuses on life skills, career development, mentorship, and cultural awareness — helping you prepare for rewarding careers at Veolia.

Participants gain hands-on experience in fields like diesel mechanics, mechanical fitting, finance, and logistics, while building real-world skills and confidence.

Future Forward has been so successful that it has been rolled out in Sydney and Brisbane, with plans to roll out across Australia. This groundbreaking programme was awarded a prestigious Highly Commended Award at the 2025 Queensland Reconciliation Awards.

Eligibility

Ready to kickstart an exciting career? If you’re between 17 and 35 years old and eager to explore new opportunities, our Get Into programmes are just what you need!

If you are unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week, this could be your chance to learn new skills.
