For the second successive year young First Nations Youth are learning how to care for their Sea Country 🤝🪸
Working in partnership with Citizens of the Youth, the Trust’s ‘Get Into Reef Conservation’ programme helps young trainees become active guardians of their Sea Country.
During the 10-week programme, participants learn essential life and career skills and reef conservation skills including reef survey methods, coral propagation techniques and dive skills.
The partnership model honours First Nations stewardship while creating meaningful employment pathways —a powerful combination for both reef health and community wellbeing.
