We all know the stress and anxiety that writing a CV can cause—especially for young people navigating the process for the first time. That’s where The King’s Trust Australia’s partner PurpleCV, and its founder, Andrew Arkley, comes in.
PurpleCV create market‑leading CVs for ambitious job seekers looking to land their ideal role. And Andrew Arkley is on a mission to use his experience and passion to support young people in both Australia and the UK as they build successful careers.
Earlier this month, Andrew joined us to deliver a bespoke programme for alumni of the Harding Miller Education Foundation (HMEF).
HMEF is an Australian charity that supports high‑potential but socio‑economically disadvantaged girls with the tools and resources they need not only to complete school, but to reach their potential.
To further support these incredible young women, The King’s Trust Australia, in conjunction with PurpleCV, developed a bespoke workshop and set of resources focused on two of the Alumnae’s key concerns about entering the workforce: CV writing and interview skills.
Participants gained practical tips and proven strategies, put their newly strengthened skills into action, and reflected on how they could continue building their confidence and capability.
“These conversations reinforced an important truth — career success isn’t just about skills or experience. It’s about mindset, clarity and confidence.”
“By proudly partnering with the Trust, we’re strengthening the pathways to meaningful employment,” said Andrew.
Founded by His Majesty King Charles III, The King’s Trust Australia is a national charity dedicated to helping young people discover who they are, what they’re living for, and how to make a living through education, employment and enterprise initiatives.
