Prince’s Trust Australia has a new name – The King’s Trust Australia.

A Prince's Trust spokesperson said: "In November 2023 we announced that we would become The King's Trust and we are delighted to begin this transition. The evolution of our name enables us to retain proximity to our Founder, His Majesty King Charles III, reflecting his continued dedication to our work since 1976. As we work towards this change over the coming months, we will continue to support young people and communities who face disadvantage and adversity to access employment, education and training, in the UK and around the world.

“The Prince’s Trust is a group of 7 independent charities, each registered in multiple countries who have their own legal and regulatory approvals and as such each charity will make the change to their name in line with their local process.

“As a group of charities, we have secured pro-bono support to help design and implement a new brand. Any changes to physical materials and brand assets will be transitioned with a focus on sustainability and will take place in a period of transition.”
