Achieve Fest 2022

Achieve Fest is kicking off on the 29th & 30th of November

Our much anticipated Achieve Fest is kicking off on the 29th& 30th of November!

Young people will need to develop new mindsets, skills, and capabilities to make good career decisions and to thrive in a rapidly changing world of work. It is a free, 2-day Future of Work festival designed to help young people EXPLORE their passions, BUILD skills of the future and CREATE change on issues that matter to them most.

“Achieve Fest was fun and impactful, especially the way that it framed meaningful work. It was nice to see our family’s perspectives shift from the importance of a good salary and job security to the importance of values and enjoyment in the work we do.”  (Caleb, Achieve Fest Participant)
Shanae says: “I felt very indecisive about my future before doing Achieve Fest as I wasn’t sure what I liked to do.  At Achieve Fest I was able to see what my interests were and that I would enjoy doing something physical. I feel like I have now made a decision about my career.”  (Shanae, Achieve Fest Participant – Yarrawonga College)

Not only does the program have a positive impact on students, but it also helps educators develop strategies and lessons to ensure their students’ learnings are future proof.

We were experiencing remote learning and I thought, here is a great opportunity to engage our students in these challenging times. Achieve is great for students to be able to work through at their own pace and to develop skills, confidence, career aspirations and understanding of the future of work.”.  (Jim, Teacher at Yarrawonga College)
