Rosie Thomas OAM is considered one of Australia’s brightest change-makers and social innovators. She has spent the last 15 years building Australia’s first and biggest youth-driven movement against (cyber)bullying, hate and prejudice. What started as a simple idea has now impacted half a million young Aussies. Having started the social business straight out of high school, Rosie knows exactly what it’s like to be underestimated as both a young person and a woman and she is committed to providing totally innovative opportunities for people to realise their purpose and potential.
Rosie is one of Australia’s youngest recipients of the Order of Australia Medal and her work has been recognised by UNICEF and honoured in Washington D.C. with the International Award for Outstanding Achievement in Cybersafety. Rosie serves on the Global Safety Boards of Twitter because she is relentlessly passionate about engineering a kinder, digital world. In 2020, Rosie was awarded a Westpac Social Change Fellowship as one of ten social innovators recognised for their social leadership in Australia.

As someone who is dissatisfied with the status quo and impatient for change, Rosie loves helping her audience realise their unique purpose. She is a dynamic and seasoned speaker, having personally presented to hundreds of thousands of young people all over the world.
