Roy Mellon is a pioneering entrepreneur in payroll, workforce management, and HR.
After an Army career, he founded RDM Consulting in 2009, selling it to Activpayroll in 2012. Roy then founded Proactiv Payroll in 2013 and launched the successful Definitiv platform in 2016, which The Access Group acquired in 2021.
In 2023, Roy retired to focus on philanthropy, especially in technology and digital inclusion.
