Dylan Conway

We are thrilled to welcome Dylan Conway, founder of Brothers and Books and winner of the 2024 Beyond Service Awards Rising Star Award!

Dylan began his career with a 12-year tenure in the Australian Army before being diagnosed with a chronic condition at the age of 26 that left him bedridden.

During this challenging period, as he spent two years in and out of hospital, Dylan found strength and solace in reading.

In 2020, he founded Brothers and Books to share the transformative power of bibliotherapy – the practice of reading to support and improve mental health – with others in need.

Since its inception, Brothers and Books has established 102 community libraries, donated $150,000 to other charities, and shared over 18,000 life-changing books.

Dylan’s charitable work has also earned him recognition as a nominee for the 2025 QLD Young Australian of the Year Award.

Join us on Monday, 17 February, as Dylan shares his journey and insights in an inspiring and practical Founder’s Session. He’ll focus on growing a charitable enterprise, with key takeaways on fundraising, PR, and strategic collaboration. This is one session you won’t want to miss!
